3rd Line Support / Infrastructure Engineer
£265 per day | Inside IR35 | 12-week contract
Location: Long Eaton | Workstyle: 3 days per week on-site

3rd Line Support / Infrastructure Engineer required to manage escalations across a Microsoft estate – Intune, Entra ID and Azure access management.

The role:

We are working with a well-established organisation in Long Eaton that requires a 3rd Line Support / Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-week contract.

You will be picking up escalations from their managed service provider and acting as a key point of technical resolution across their Microsoft estate. This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, configuration, and supporting business-critical infrastructure.

You will be responsible for:
  • Managing and resolving 3rd line escalations from the MSP
  • Configuring and managing devices using Intune and Entra ID
  • Supporting Azure access and identity management functions
  • Handling tickets through the Halo ITSM tool
  • Carrying out basic configuration within Halo (experience desirable but not essential)
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Microsoft environment
This is an on-site role, three days per week in Long Eaton, and requires someone who can step in quickly and provide support from day one.

What we’re looking for:
  • Previous 2nd/3rd line support or infrastructure experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft environments
  • Exposure to Intune device configuration
  • Entra ID administration
  • Understanding of Azure access and identity management
  • Experience working with an ITSM tool (Halo desirable but not essential)
  • Comfortable handling escalations from an MSP environment
  • Immediately available
