We’re now looking for an experienced CHECK Team Leader (Infrastructure) to take a lead role within our Offensive Security Testing function — guiding technical excellence, maintaining accreditation standards, and shaping next-generation assurance services.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and deliver NCSC-accredited CHECK and CREST testing services.
• Own and refine technical methodologies, processes, and compliance standards.
• Act as a key liaison with NCSC and accreditation bodies to ensure ongoing scheme success.
• Mentor and develop penetration testers towards CTM and CTL qualifications.
• Oversee complex penetration testing engagements across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Support the development of advanced testing capabilities, including Red Teaming, Purple Teaming, and Threat Intelligence-led assurance (CBEST, TIBER-EU).
• Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance service offerings and strengthen client relationships.

Salary: Up to c£100,000

What You’ll Bring

• Current NCSC CHECK Team Leader (Infrastructure) accreditation.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in penetration testing or technical assurance.
• Strong technical knowledge across:
  
  • Network and infrastructure security
  • Windows and Linux administration
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Enterprise security controls and common misconfigurations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Desirable extras:
experience in Red Team or Threat Intelligence-led engagements (CBEST, TIBER), certifications such as CREST CCT INF, OSCP, OSCE, CRTO, CRTE, or GIAC GPEN/GXPN, and experience contributing to company-level accreditations or training initiatives.
