In 2001 we were set up by Jon and Amanda Coldridge, they had been working within IT recruitment for a number of years and decided it was time to set up on their own. In spite of the ongoing tough economic growth and recruitment freezes Big Red have gone from strength to strength. Within the last two years Big Red have grown their team by 50% Our continuing growth means that there are lots of exciting opportunities for you!

Business Development Executive
Are you a graduate with a 2:1 or 1st class degree? Think you have excellent interpersonal skills? Have you got that extra spark and get up and go? If so, we’d love to hear from you! As a Business Development Executive you’ll be working with the more experienced Consultant’s on recruitment projects for our clients. You’ll be conducting telephone interviews and supporting on face to face interviews but as you become comfortable you’ll be able to progress at your own speed. We’ll train you the Big Red way through a mixture of structured training and on the job experiences.
Typically this is the next stage after being a Business Development Executive. As a Recruitment Executive you will take responsibility for client recruitment projects from start to finish. You will conduct all telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews (typically at our clients offices), shortlist candidates for our clients to interview and then manage the recruitment process from offer to completion.
Recruitment Consultant and Business Manager
Essentially the role won’t change that much but you’ll have more responsibility. As you progress at Big Red you’ll take on more account management responsibility and become more involved in helping our clients plan and execute really smart strategies in the acquisition and retention of the best people for their business. In the role as a Business Manager you will be managing a small team and will be given additional responsibility.
