Customer Support Agent (Accounting software)
Salary: GBP18000 - GBP25000 per annum + bonus

You're comfortable talking double entry accounting, fixed assets and invoicing. But that's the thing, you're comfortable TALKING. You love the accounting/finance stuff but you don't want to be stuck in a quiet room preparing accounts and tax returns all day. You need more. You need a challenge.
You'll join a customer care team who are responsible for all incoming customer queries on their property management and accounting product. You will triage and troubleshoot the issues and fix those that you can. This may be resetting a server, helping set up a new account, or retraining a user who is struggling to grasp the software.
As a lot of the issues coming in revolve around accounts, you will need to have a grounding in finance or accounting. This may mean that you've been working in a finance assistant role or have recently graduated with an accounting degree. Either way you'll need to be organised, pro-active and a strong communicator. You'll also need a logical and analytical mind as some of the issues are complex and require in depth troubleshooting.
In return you'll join a growing software house and get to exposure to a number of high profile clients. The business have a close-knit culture, where everyone works hard but is rewarded for their efforts.
