Love IT and love helping people? A leading provider of innovative software solutions are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Application Support Analyst to join their close knit team!

As the successful Application Support, you will be working with a broad and growing client base circa 1800, made up of National and Internationally renowned brands. Based from their offices in Northampton, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to external users on a variety of issues where their applications are impacted. This will include both 1st and 2nd line fixes, and more technical SQL based solutions if your experience allows.

Working within this software house, you will form part of this small yet highly skilled technical team, who will provide you with the necessary support to develop your career whether that be within technical support or potentially for a move into professional services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take the first or second steps in their IT career, and gain invaluable exposure to innovative technologies and work with a highly collaborative team.

As the successful candidate, you would be joining the team at a key time, as they move to the cloud, utilising Microsoft Azure. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to any candidate who wishes to be successful in the business, as they will be required to gather and respond to tickets of high importance via telephone and email.

Application Support - essential skills:

* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
* Knowledge or experience of application/software support (preferably bespoke)
* Strong team working skills
* Must be able to drive and have own vehicle due to location

Application Support - desirable skills:
* Knowledge of SQL databases
* Previous server support experience
