A successful software house based in London are seeking an Application Support Analyst to join their team and take ownership of incoming technical issues from their varied customer base, via both telephone and email.
ROLE: Application Support Analyst
SALARY:£30,000 - £40,000 DOE
As the successful Application Support Analyst, you will quickly build rapport with customers so you are able to get to the bottom of their software issues and diagnose faults as fast as possible. You will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical users via the telephone, email and remote software tools.
There will be some complex technical problems whereby there is a problem with the software, such as a bug in the code or database. You will need to troubleshoot the problem and potentially do some configuration on the software. There will also be non-technical problems - a user might not understand how to use a particular feature and you will have to remote-on and train the user.
You will join a fast paced department and therefore the ability to organise and prioritise issues will be essential to the success of this role. You will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical users at all levels via the telephone, email and remote software tools.
This is a fast paced and diverse role. As you will be receiving a high level of incidents throughout the day, you will need to be comfortable multi-tasking and managing your own workload.

As the successful candidate, you will join a growing entrepreneurial software company based out of Central London. They are a close knit team and adopt a very consultative approach to their business model and customer base. Upon starting you will be given significant support to get to grips with the role and the software, but there will be an expectation for an element of self learning to ensure you are up to date with their bespoke software within the required time scale. This consultative approach is applied both externally and internally and therefore it is essential that anyone joining the business has a team focused mentality and is happy to help out where required.
