Software Business Analyst

A successful software house based in London are seeking a Software Business Analyst to join their team. As the successful Business Analyst you will work closely with new or existing customers to understand potential new requirements for software solutions across their business.

ROLE: Software Business Analyst

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Bonus

LOCATION: London, travel throughout the UK

The Role:
As the successful Business Analyst you will join a fast paced environment and will therefore need to have excellent organisational skills. You will need to demonstrate excellent customer service as this is will be an entirely client facing role, therefore you must be able to communicate effectively over the phone, email and face to face.

You will be responsible for engaging potential and existing customers and understanding their business process in enough detail to demonstrate how your software offering will benefit them and integrate with their current process. You will gather requirements by liaising directly with key stakeholders and business users. You will then work with other members of the projects team to translate these requirements into the best software solution for the customers. You will then hand it over to a software trainer who will train the users on the software and help them understand how to use it efficiently.

This is a very diverse role which, for the right candidate, will provide ongoing challenges and increased responsibility. You will work with the business in ensuring that all implementations are run to the highest standard. Due to the nature of the role, no two days will be the same and it is therefore essential that the successful individual is happy to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.

The Company:
As the successful candidate, you will join a growing entrepreneurial software company based out of Central London. They are a close knit team and adopt a very consultative approach to their business model and customer base. Upon starting you will be given significant support to get to grips with the role and the software, but there will be an expectation for an element of self learning to ensure you are up to date with their bespoke software within the required time scale. This consultative approach is applied both externally and internally and therefore it is essential that anyone joining the business has a team focused mentality and is happy to help out where required.

Skills required:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Willing to travel to customer sites (up to 4 days per week) across the UK.
* Software BA experience (ideally with software involving financials)
* Financial acumen - the software involves financial analysis and therefore you cant be afraid of numbers.

Desired Skills:
* Exposure to the housing property industry
* Finance software exposure
* Experience training users on complex software
