Now as our client has been transforming their IT estate over the last couple of years, they are looking for the right leader to continue to drive this forward as it enters a steady state.

That's where you come in.

We need you to oversee all elements on technology, covering end-to-end delivery of IT services. All the usual stuff: infrastructure, data, WIFI, business intelligence and digital. You'll also be driving the IT strategy, using your know-how to make informed choices when investing in new tech.

LOCATION: Doncaster – the need to be onsite as much as possible is important but they do offer flexible working arrangements

SALARY: £60,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience

This role will involve a lot of improvement: IT infrastructure, 3rd party management, implementing best practices and managing budgets while still remaining technically hands on at times.

Some of the key elements to this role:
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand departmental plans to ensure there is appropriate resource to support planned delivery and highlight any applicable risk.
  • Define and deliver the IT roadmap to ensure efficient delivery of key objectives.
  • Prepare the department budget, ensuring costs are appropriately managed and resource levels are adequate to meet the company’s needs.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate change management controls ensuring development of our client’s systems is fully documented and tested.
  • Provide effective incident management and support for any IT related events and work effectively within incident response team.
  • Lead and develop a small IT function.
  • Willing to be “hands on” and willing to be onsite across different sites when needed.
  • Strong culture alignment – working withing a charity, care of health sector would be advantageous.
