Big Red first engaged with AMAG Technology to assist with the recruitment of a number of software engineers following a failed attempt by AMAG’s previous PSL.

About:

Challenges:

AMAG Technology had a variety of challenges when recruiting software engineers before engaging with Big Red. These included the candidates being presented not being at the skill level required, the pool of talent within the area was limited and with the software development market being extremely competitive it was highly likely that a candidate would have multiple opportunities available to them at any one time.

Our Solution:

Big Red undertook a detailed brief from the Software Development Manager and undertook a 2.5 week search followed by an onsite interview day. A pre-defined shortlist was then presented to the hiring manager and multiple appointments were made. Big Red used a variety of methods to source the candidates including headhunting and proactively approaching the passive market.

Results:

• Big Red successfully hired a number of software engineers for the development function within AMAG Technology.
• Big Red also successfully appointed a variety of other roles, including Technical Support, Database Development and Testing.
• Big Red was genuinely seen as a trusted partner and are now a preferred supplier to AMAG Technology.
