A leading technology solutions organisation is growing its engineering team. As a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will be part of a strong, enthusiastic team supporting a variety of clients with their IT service issues. You will be an inquisitive team player who prides themselves on first class service. If this sounds familiar, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
With a good understanding of networking and Windows 10 operating systems, you will have experience in IT technical support and consistently provide high levels of customer service. You will be a strong multitasker, showing excellent attention to detail whilst working on a variety of projects simultaneously.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
üEfficiently handling incoming technical support incidents, requests and changes.
üLogging detailed and accurate information into our Service Desk system.
üAnswering calls from clients in a friendly and professional manner.
üCommunicating with clients to keep them updated on the progress of their issue and ensuring that customer satisfaction remains high.
üResolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server or network queries.
üAttending customer premises to perform on-site work if and when required.
Your Skills and Experience
ØThe ability to multitask is imperative and you will demonstrate excellent communication skills in both written and verbal format.
ØYou will have a desire to provide outstanding customer service.
ØA strong understanding of Windows 10 and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services is imperative.
ØYou will have experience working in IT technical support and you will be eager to learn new skills and invest in personal development.
ØYou will be proactive and self-motivated with a desire to help solve client issues.
