An exciting opportunity has become available with our market leading, heavily invested client! They are seeking an enthusiastic, positive and customer service focused individual to join their growing IT Support Team. Problem solving is key! This role will give you the foundation to learn and expand your knowledge and experience in a customer service or IT support role and progress your IT career.
ROLE: IT Service Desk Analyst / Customer Service and Support (no IT Support experience necessary)
SALARY: £18k - £20k + Excellent benefits package
LOCATION: Solihull, West Midlands
For this role you will be the face and reputation of the company and will be the single point of contact for all customer software problems across the UK and internationally. You will be trained to understand their software product and will be responsible for logging incidents, troubleshooting problems, and solving as many issues as you are technically capable of doing. You will escalate any problems that you are not familiar with to a 2nd line support team. You will have full ownership of the calls that you take: To quickly identify and resolve broad ranging incidents whilst providing high standards of customer service.
This company is growing fast, having received large investment, with plans to scale up the business and drastically increase the team size over the coming year. They have track record of offering fast progression to employees that have joined the business in this customer support role. Likely progression paths would be into project management / Software implementation, testing, development or into more senior technical support roles. There is also the opportunity to become a team leader and manager with company funded management courses available.
The ideal candidate will have come from a service based background, working in any industry providing customer or service desk support. You will have a desire to work within IT, take ownership of problems and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
The right IT Service Desk Analyst / IT customer support person will have the following:
·At least 1yr+ experience of working on a busy Help Desk / customer support role in any company.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·Excellent customer service skills
·A desire to progress within a company
·A natural problem solver
