Big Red first engaged with AMAG Technology to assist with the recruitment of a number of software engineers following a failed attempt by AMAG’s previous PSL.
AMAG Technology is one of the foremost innovators and suppliers within the Security Industry providing fully integrated security solutions throughout the world. AMAG have been serving and protecting customers for over 40 years, delivering 30,000 systems across 110 countries by working together and listening to their clients’ individual needs.
AMAG Technology had a variety of challenges when recruiting software engineers before engaging with Big Red. These included the candidates being presented not being at the skill level required, the pool of talent within the area was limited and with the software development market being extremely competitive it was highly likely that a candidate would have multiple opportunities available to them at any one time.
Big Red undertook a detailed brief from the Software Development Manager and undertook a 2.5 week search followed by an onsite interview day. A pre-defined shortlist was then presented to the hiring manager and multiple appointments were made. Big Red used a variety of methods to source the candidates including headhunting and proactively approaching the passive market.
• Big Red successfully hired a number of software engineers for the development function within AMAG Technology.
• Big Red also successfully appointed a variety of other roles, including Technical Support, Database Development and Testing.
• Big Red was genuinely seen as a trusted partner and are now a preferred supplier to AMAG Technology.
“James is an excellent asset to the recruitment industry. His approach to recruitment is not pushy and his style is clear and precise. James has a great attention and understands our recruitment needs exactly. We have used James in his role at big red to recruit on a number of occasions, these have often been challenging roles to fill with very specific requirements. We/I will continue for any new recruitment opportunities which arise in my team.”
