From their UK HQ in Market Harborough, CDS Global UK (previously known as Tower Publishing) services 50+ clients and millions of customers in over 100 countries. It has long dominated the UK magazine subscription market, with clients including Conde Nast, National Magazines and Future Publishing. CDS Global UK is active in the B2B and controlled circulation markets as well as the consumer magazine fulfilment market, managing over 500 titles and some 7 million customers in total. From its roots in magazine subscription, CDS Global UK has successfully moved into other areas of outsourcing, including digital marketing, content hosting and access management, data warehousing, charity donation processing and secure document scanning. Big Red Recruitment started working with CDS in 2008, a time of change due to restructuring and the introduction of CDS Global solutions into the Tower Publishing environment. Having tried unsuccessfully to recruit using their usual PSL, multiple-agency approach, CDS came to Big Red following a recommendation from a member of the IT Department who had been placed by us in their previous place of employment. Big Red put a recruitment project plan in place and delivered first time, to the agreed timescales. Big Red continue to work with CDS to help them consolidate the talent in their IT department.
